How to apply FUSIOCOAT®

SURFACE CLEANING

The laying of the ceramic must be carried out in a clean and dry place, sheltered from the sun and in which the temperature is between 15 and 30ºC.

For a perfect finish, it is recommended to follow the following four steps:

1. Cleaning: Washing and drying the surface to obtain a clean and perfectly dry surface.
2. Decontamination: Elimination of mineral and organic contaminants.
3. Polishing: Scratches, swirls and other surface imperfections are corrected by polishing to obtain a smooth and uniform surface. This step is often essential for used or old (sometimes even new) vehicles.
4. Neutralization: Fats the from polishing process are removed using an IPA-based solution (isopropyl alcohol).

Following these four steps, the surface should be dry, smooth and free of residue, ready to receive the FUSIOCOAT® coating.

1. Depositing the product on the application fabric: Apply 2 lines of product approximately 5 to 7 cm apart and spaced approximately 1 cm apart using the micropipette provided on a microfiber or soft lint-free cloth for ceramic application.
2. Application: Apply the microfiber without pressure by means of crossed linear movements on a surface of approximately 50 cm X 50 cm. The movement is carried out both vertically and horizontally so that the entire surface is treated evenly. To optimize the finish of your siding, work on one element at a time.
3. Wiping: Approximately 1 minute after, adjust the surface of the coating using a microfiber towel between 2 to 3 vertical without pressure.

It takes about 2 hours to apply FUSIOCOAT® coatings to the entire body of a medium-sized car.

Curing takes place at room temperature (15 to 30 deg C).

Coatings are touch-dry 30 minutes after application and the vehicle can be used after just 2 hours.

First washing can be made after 7 days and avoid roller washing for the first 30 days.
